I provide the translation, if at all I can call it that, here:

Which Mohan's flute took you away to the far shores?

Which Brindavna attracted your eye of mud?

.......

To yearn for what does not exist, and to shun all that does.. that's life.

(This poem is by Gopalakrishna Adiga, a great Kannada poet. The first line of this poem... Yaava Mohana... must stand as one of the finest lines in literature. Whenever I feel homesick, I must listen to this song, rendered beautifully by Rathnamaala Prakash. The song goes into the nooks and crannies of my soul and I yearn for my land..., my language, to sit atop the Malnad hillocks on a summer evening and dream crazy dreams. Sigh..............)

Beautiful :)

Anyways, hope you get a much-deserved break... nevertheless, life goes on, with or without it! Take care.

Mish: Go to Kannadaaudio.com, click on Bhaavageethe, and you'll find the song. Sometimes I think Ratnamala is more responsible than Gopalakrishna Adiga fro the haunting quality of the song. And yes, Mish, if I could I definitely would :)

Praveen: Long time no virtual see. How it goes? :)
